Graduate / Entry Level The Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious individual to begin their career within commercial finance and business consultancy. This position is suitable for graduates and early-career professionals who want practical exposure to business funding, financial analysis and commercial client relationships. You will work alongside experienced consultants, learning how to understand a company's financial requirements, analyse financial information and identify appropriate commercial funding solutions.

Previous commercial finance experience is not essential. Structured training and ongoing professional development will be provided.

The Role Initially, you will support experienced consultants while developing the knowledge required to manage your own commercial finance cases. Your responsibilities will include:
Speaking with business owners to understand their objectives and funding requirements Reviewing company financial information and supporting documentation Conducting initial financial and commercial analysis Researching suitable commercial finance solutions Comparing lenders, products and commercial terms Preparing client and funding summaries Supporting commercial finance applications from enquiry through to completion Communicating with lenders and other finance providers Maintaining accurate client and case records Supporting client onboarding and due-diligence procedures Developing professional relationships with clients and external partners Keeping your knowledge of commercial finance products and market developments up to date As your experience develops, you will have the opportunity to take greater responsibility for client relationships and manage your own portfolio of commercial finance cases.

Areas of Commercial Finance You may gain exposure to a range of business funding requirements, including:
Business Finance – Funding for expansion, recruitment, equipment, working capital and other commercial requirements. Asset Finance – Helping businesses explore funding for vehicles, machinery, technology and other business assets. Invoice Finance – Understanding funding solutions that can help businesses manage cash flow against outstanding invoices. Commercial Property Finance – Supporting eligible businesses with commercial property purchases and refinancing requirements. Development Finance – Assisting with funding requirements connected with eligible commercial and property development projects.

Working Capital – Helping businesses explore funding options designed to support operational cash flow and growth. Training & Development This is a development-focused position with structured training covering:
Commercial finance fundamentals Understanding company accounts Financial and commercial analysis Credit and risk fundamentals Commercial lending Client fact-finding Lender research Business funding structures Due diligence and compliance Professional client communication Relationship management You will initially work under the guidance of experienced colleagues before progressing towards managing your own cases.
