Temporary Accounts Assistant (68 weeks) - Glenrothes Salary: £DOE

ASAP We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to provide temporary cover for approximately 68 weeks, supporting a busy and friendly finance team based in Glenrothes. This is a hands-on general accounts role, working alongside a small finance team and providing support across purchase ledger, cash posting, credit control and general finance administration.

The Role Your responsibilities will include:
Processing and matching invoices against GRNs Processing invoices and transactions using Sage Line 50 Posting cash and income receipts Processing journals and supporting the Management Accountant Maintaining accurate filing and financial records Assisting with credit control, including chasing outstanding payments by phone and email Providing general accounts and administration support to the finance team About You We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is confident working across general accounts administration.

You will ideally have:
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role Strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50 Good Excel skills

Experience with purchase ledger and invoice processing Excellent attention to detail and accuracy A proactive and flexible approach The ability to work effectively as part of a small team This is an excellent short-term opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a short-term assignment in a friendly, office-based environment.
