Working across a complex and dynamic environment, you will partner with senior operational and clinical leaders to support strategic decision-making and drive organisational performance.
As Finance Manager, you will provide high-level financial advice, analysis and support to Directors and senior managers, helping them monitor performance, develop robust forecasts and deliver financial targets. You will lead on financial planning, budgeting and business case development, using both financial and operational information to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and value for money. This role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence service development across a specialist NHS Trust.

To provide high-level financial advice to the division/directorates.
The focus of this role will be on providing financial information and support to Directors, to assist them in monitoring the financial performance of their Division/Directorate. This should include using financial and other information to make recommendations for improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and of the Trust. Although this role is responsible for covering a designated Divisions/Directorates the Finance Manager will also work across the Trust to deliver specific objectives.
We are seeking a CCAB-qualified accountant, or an individual who can demonstrate substantial progress towards qualification, with strong analytical skills and experience of working in a complex financial environment. You will be an excellent communicator, capable of building credible relationships with clinicians, operational managers and executives alike. Financial Monitoring and Control

Along with the management accountant, to manage and oversee the provision of financial management information, analysis and advice.
To ensure the budgets for the Divisions/Directorates reflect the plans agreed by Management Executive and the Trust Board.
To provide financial support to the Directors in respect of the monthly performance reviews.
