Advise clients on project finance and M&A transactions across the energy transition sector.
The opportunityOur client is a specialist energy transition advisory firm seeking a Vice President, Investment Banking based in London. The role will lead and support complex transactions across project finance and M&A, working closely with clients and senior stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Advise clients on project finance and M&A transactions across the energy transition sector.
- Lead transaction execution from origination through financial close or completion.
- Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
- Manage due diligence, transaction processes, and external advisers.
- Prepare presentations, investment memoranda, and client-facing materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Support business development and origination activities.
- 5–8 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience.
- Strong experience in project finance advisory and M&A.
- Previous experience in energy transition, renewable energy, or infrastructure preferred.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Excellent client management, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple transactions.
