Accounts Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a successful and growing business based in Wimbledon, with parking. This is a varied role offering the chance to take ownership of key sales ledger and customer accounting responsibilities. The role is available now so would suit someone immediately available or on a short notice period.

Working as part of the supportive finance team, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in managing the sales ledger and raising customer invoices
• Allocating payments and maintaining accurate customer accounts
• Performing account and customer reconciliations
• Monitoring outstanding balances and supporting credit control
• Liaising with customers to resolve invoice and payment queries
• Investigating discrepancies and ensuring accounts are kept up to date
• Assisting with month-end procedures and general finance administration
• Supporting the wider finance team as required

We are looking for an organised and motivated finance professional with previous experience in sales ledger, accounts receivable or a similar accounts role. You will have good attention to detail, strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise directly with customers. Experience using accounting systems such as Xero or Sage along with Excel would be advantageous. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career within a supportive and professional environment.
