Senior Pensions Consultant

This is an outstanding opening for an experienced Pensions professional keen to join a market leading Pensions Consultancy and their incredibly strong Risk Settlement Group where you will have the opportunity to lead high-profile transactions, influence the development of new propositions, and have a broader impact beyond your immediate client portfolio.

As a Senior Consultant within this Risk Settlement Group, you will be a key contributor to a large, specialist team advising clients across the Pension risk transfer market. You will play a senior role in delivering complex settlement transactions and shaping strategic outcomes for clients.

What you ll be doing, your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as senior support or lead transaction adviser on a wide range of settlement transactions, including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation or capital solutions
• Taking responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of transactions, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Leading and managing relationships with key transaction stakeholders
• Advising clients on their strategic "Journey to Settlement", including preparation, feasibility and market readiness
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with trustees, sponsors and other professional advisers to develop new settlement opportunities
• Playing a central role in new business initiatives, both internally and externally
• Using deep market knowledge to develop innovative settlement solutions
• Supporting marketing activity and thought leadership, including campaigns, events and conferences
• Contributing to the growth and strategic direction of the Risk Settlement Group
• Coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues to help build future leaders

• A proven track record of delivering Pension risk settlement transactions
• Broad industry experience with strong technical capability
