London Rate: £48.99 via PAYE Duration: 3 Months An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified finance professional to join a leading NHS organisation as a Head of Finance & Contracts to lead their financial strategy, commercial governance, and contractual assurance functions

Key Responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of the organisation's financial and commercial strategy Provide executive-level financial advice and assurance on complex contracts, partnerships and funding arrangements Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting Lead commercial and contractual governance frameworks across the organisation Support the development of business cases, bids, investment decisions and growth opportunities Manage financial risk, ensuring robust governance and compliance Develop strong relationships with NHS partners, suppliers, funding bodies and academic organisations Lead, develop and inspire the finance function, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance About You CCAB-qualified accountant status with substantial post-qualification experience Experience operating at a senior strategic finance level Expertise in financial planning, management accounting and financial governance Experience advising on complex contracts, grants, partnerships or commercial arrangements Strong commercial acumen with experience managing financial and contractual risk Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders Experience leading and developing high-performing teams The ability to interpret complex financial information and translate it into actionable business insights
