The Role Working with both new and existing clients, you will provide clear, compliant mortgage and protection advice while managing cases through from initial enquiry to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
Meeting and speaking with clients to understand their mortgage, borrowing and protection requirements Researching the market and sourcing appropriate mortgage solutions Providing clear and concise advice across mortgages and associated protection products Supporting clients with applications and relevant documentation Submitting mortgage applications to lenders and overseeing cases through to completion Liaising with lenders, solicitors, surveyors and other third parties Keeping clients informed throughout the application process Maintaining accurate and compliant client records Building strong relationships with clients and professional introducers Developing a book of loyal repeat clients and generating referrals Keeping up to date with developments across the mortgage and protection markets The underlying job specification places particular emphasis on advisers taking ownership of their cases, maintaining compliance and CRM records, and building a book of repeat clients and introducers.
About You The successful candidate will ideally have:
CeMAP or an equivalent mortgage qualification At least 2 years' experience within the mortgage market , ideally with experience working as a Mortgage Adviser Experience advising on relevant protection products Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills Excellent organisation and attention to detail A proactive approach to managing cases and keeping clients updated Confidence working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Experience with mortgage sourcing and CRM systems; knowledge of Twenty7
Tec and 360 would be advantageous An Equity Release qualification would be beneficial. Candidates without this qualification should be prepared to obtain it within 12 months of joining. Package Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience Bonus:
