Investments & Project Manager

Our client is an established family office supporting the personal financial affairs of a high-net-worth family, alongside the accounting, investment and compliance requirements of a number of associated financial interests. As the office continues to evolve, they are looking for an experienced and qualified Investments & Project Manage r who combines strong technical finance knowledge with a genuine interest in technology, innovation and process improvement.

Role and Responsibilities:

While in this position your duties may include but may not be limited to :
Supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of wealth and investment reporting processes. Ensuring wealth reporting information is prepared accurately and delivered within agreed deadlines. Reviewing wealth reporting information prior to upload, ensuring a high level of accuracy and completeness. Supporting investment performance reporting, asset revaluations and intercompany reconciliations. Preparing and maintaining master loan summaries, quarterly loan memoranda, loan schedules and asset statements.

Monitoring loan and mortgage repayment dates and ensuring appropriate action is taken where required. Calculating annual asset revaluations and preparing information required for reporting and compliance purposes. Developing and maintaining investment information systems, including records relating to loans and mortgages. Maintaining an accurate electronic investment database, including relevant tax and legal jurisdiction information. Designing and maintaining efficient investment filing and information management systems.

Supporting the preparation of financial information and administration for a pension scheme and a number of limited companies. Carrying out management-level reviews of financial information, including management accounts, VAT returns, year-end financial statements and audit files. Supporting the finance team in ensuring all entities meet relevant tax, governance and compliance obligations. Taking responsibility for company secretarial and corporate governance requirements, including statutory and regulatory filings.

Maintaining statutory books, registers and corporate records and ensuring information remains accurate and up to date. Monitoring compliance with Companies House reforms and other relevant regulatory requirements. Identifying opportunities to improve and automate processes across finance, investment and compliance functions. Developing practical, secure solutions that improve efficiency, reporting quality and knowledge management while maintaining strict confidentiality. Managing project plans, system specifications, testing and implementation programmes.

Acting as a key liaison between internal users, external suppliers and management throughout technology and process improvement projects. Supporting the introduction of new technologies, including artificial intelligence and Microsoft 365 solutions. Training colleagues and providing ongoing support to ensure new systems, processes and procedures are adopted effectively. Driving a continuous programme of efficiency and operational improvements across the office. Working collaboratively with colleagues across finance, tax, administration and compliance to support wider business objectives.
