Tax Senior Manager - Global Energy Business

A young, high-growth, ambitious energy business with international operations, focused on markets where it can drive local economic impact and play a strategic role in the energy sector. The company operates across multiple jurisdictions and is scaling its finance function to match its growth trajectory. Position Summary A newly-shaped Tax Senior Manager role covering Tax Reporting, Compliance, Transfer Pricing and VAT.

You'll work closely with the Head of Tax and wider finance function to ensure accurate tax reporting, full regulatory compliance, robust transfer pricing, and efficient VAT management across the group.

Key Responsibilities Own tax reporting: preparing provisions, disclosures and reports for financial statements across multiple tax jurisdictions Lead UK tax compliance end-to-end — corporate income tax, VAT, CT61s, P11

Ds and PSA returns — ensuring full regulatory compliance Drive transfer pricing strategy: managing intercompany transactions, mitigating risk, and working with advisers to prepare group TP documentation Oversee VAT management, including return reviews, reporting, reconciliation, timely submission and VAT recovery processes Manage tax audits and authority inquiries, coordinating responses to minimise tax exposure Provide ad hoc tax advice across the business as needed Candidate Requirements 5–10 years' tax experience with strong exposure to reporting, compliance, transfer pricing, and some VAT Solid UK tax compliance knowledge;

international jurisdiction experience preferred Proficient in tax software and major accounting/ERP platforms, plus strong financial modelling ability
