Finance Administrator

Finance Administrator £28,000 - £30,000 annually Glasgow, Southside 37.5 hours per week Hybrid working available Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with a well-established and successful local company to recruit a Finance Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a supportive team in a varied role with a strong focus on accounts receivable and credit control.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining cash flow, managing customer accounts and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations. The key responsibilities for the role are:
Raising and processing high volume customer invoices accurately Managing accounts receivable activities and maintaining accurate financial records Proactively chasing outstanding payments and supporting credit control processes Producing weekly aged debt reports Completing bank reconciliations Processing financial transactions Investigating and resolving customer account and invoice queries Monitoring shared finance inboxes and responding to enquiries Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries Assisting with wider finance and ad-hoc administration duties as required To succeed in this role, you will need:
Previous experience within a similar transactional accounts role A strong understanding of accounts receivable and credit control processes Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a strong attention to detail A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and wider Office suite, as well as accounts software If you are an experienced finance professional looking for a role that combines accounts receivable, credit control and customer interaction, we'd love to hear from you.
