I am working with a leading Top 10 accountancy and tax advisory firm in Central London to appoint a Private Client Tax Director into its specialist Trust & Family Office practice.

This is a technical, advisory-focused role working directly alongside a highly respected Trust Partner. You will advise HNW/UHNW families, family offices, trustees, and international wealth structures, with approximately 50% of the team's portfolio involving non-UK and offshore matters.

The wider Private Client division numbers around 70 professionals. It offers the ideal balance: the technical profile and complex client base of a top-tier firm, combined with an agile, collaborative culture free from Big 4 bureaucracy.

• Client Leadership:
  Lead a high-quality portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients, family offices, and complex trust structures.
• Advisory Delivery:
  Provide high-level technical advice across IHT, trust taxation, estate planning, offshore holding structures, and cross-border planning.
• Practice Growth:
  Work alongside Partners to develop existing client relationships and identify new advisory opportunities across the market.
• Portfolio & Team Management:
  Oversee portfolio economics (billing, WIP, resourcing) while mentoring Senior Managers and junior team members.
• Strategic Input:
  Play an active role in shaping the commercial direction and growth of the Trust & Family Office team.

• ACA, CTA, or STEP qualified with substantial post-qualification experience in a reputable practice environment.
• Deep technical expertise in private client tax, with specialist knowledge in trust taxation, IHT, and estate planning.
• Exposure to non-UK resident/domiciled clients, international trusts, or cross-border structures is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to build trusted client relationships, delegate effectively, and mentor rising talent.
• Currently operating at Senior Manager or Director level, with the capability and drive to progress towards Partnership.

• Base Salary: £100,000 - £130,000 (dependent on experience)
