Oliver James is recruiting on behalf of an Insurance client based in London for a Tax Manager to join their global tax team.
The Tax Manager is responsible for European tax compliance and preparation of provision, as well as various tax planning and analysis projects.
Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance
- Prepare and review corporate income tax returns for UK and Europe.
- Track corporate tax payments and refunds across company jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with external providers.
- Review of VAT and other indirect tax matters.
- Prepare and review US GAAP and local GAAP tax provisions.
- Tax planning and analysis.
Requirements
- Qualification in accountancy, tax or related fields (ACA, CTA)
- Experience with in the Insurance industry or public accounting highly preferred.
This role requires working in office in the City of London on a hybrid basis 4 days a week.
