AML & Compliance Accountant
Location:
London - fully office-based
Salary: around £50,000 per annum

Main Duties:
This is a specialist finance role responsible for managing financial transactions, client accounts and compliance within an international art trading business. The position combines accounting, AML/KYC, tax and post-sale financial operations, working with high-value transactions and clients.

• Handle invoices and payments for art auctions
• Calculate payments to sellers and make sure they are correct
• Carry out AML and KYC checks for buyers and sellers
• Manage VAT, tax and Artist's Resale Rights
• Deal with day-to-day bookkeeping, invoices and expenses
• Keep financial records accurate and work to tight deadlines

• Strong experience in finance or accounting
• ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• Anti-Money Laundering experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software
• Experience with VAT, tax and financial transactions
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, especially under tight deadlines
• Professional, discreet and confident when dealing with high-value clients
