Analyst-Real Estate

This organisation isseeking a dedicated and results-oriented professional for the position as Analyst in its Real Estate group, part of the Active Strategies area.

The Real Estate group operates from London, New York and Paris, and comprises over 40 real estate professionals working across different geographies, sectors and, both public and private markets, managing a portfolio of almost $70bn NAV.

The Analyst will work within the Global Logistics real estate team, which is responsible for managing all real estate investments in the industrial and logistics sector globally across both private and public markets, and currently overseeing a portfolio of about $16bn NAV. The Analyst will have the opportunity to work with other real estate teams over time, gaining exposure to different sectors and investments opportunities.

The position is based in London. Occasional travel to assets throughout Continental Europe, North America, and the UK will be required.

• Conduct rigorous financial analysis and modelling for new private and public investment opportunities
• Prepare investment committee presentations and memoranda
• Monitor and analyse the operational and financial performance of existing investments
• Assist with the daily management of existing real estate investments, including interaction with existing partners and managers, public companies and third-party service providers
• Contribute to group collaboration and sharing knowledge across the NBIM organisation

• University degree with strong academic records
• 2-4 years of relevant real estate investment experience, preferably from a top real estate, investment or fund manager
• Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills, and high level of proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
• Strong aptitude for learning and applying AI tools to enhance the investment process

• Self-driven, proactive, and striving for continuous improvement
• Willing to take ownership of issues and utilise a problem-solving mindset
• Curious mindset that extends to actively experimenting with AI to enhance investment analysis and workflow automation
• Collaborative and eager to be a team-player across the organisation
• Exhibit a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English in order to articulate management decisions, with a passion for sharing your knowledge
