Finance Manager | Cyber Security SaaS Scale-up | London Bridge / Hybrid

Harmonic is delighted to be partnering with a growth-stage cyber-security business that protects individuals and organisations against digital risk, working with commercial partners across the UK, the US and Europe. Having recently secured further institutional investment, the business is now building the finance function to match its ambition: lean, well-controlled and automation-first from day one.

Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Manager will own operational finance, financial control, group reporting and the year-end audit end to end. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role: you will be the entire operational finance team from day one, embedding the processes and controls now being put in place and producing numbers the board and investors trust. There is a clear route to grow with the business, from running the close to budget-holder reviews and financial modelling support, and, over time, into more commercial finance work: business partnering with the commercial leadership on data, pricing and packaging as the function matures.

• Own the monthly close across the group and deliver it to a reliable timetable
• Prepare group consolidation, multi-currency management accounts and reporting packs for the CFO, board and investors
• Own balance-sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition (including usage-based and minimum-commitment contracts) and the accrual lifecycle
• Run accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, payroll coordination, VAT and banking across the group
• Own the year-end statutory accounts process and act as the primary point of contact for auditors
• Build, document and continuously improve the control framework as it is introduced
• Drive automation and AI-enabled tools into finance processes, close, reconciliations and reporting, wherever they remove risk or manual effort
• Take on increasing commercial finance responsibility as the function, and your remit, both grow
• Finalist or newly-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven experience running a monthly close and preparing management accounts end to end
• Comfortable owning processes and controls, not just operating them
• Genuinely comfortable working independently, with limited day-to-day oversight
• Curious about using AI and automation tools to improve finance processes
• Experience in a multi-entity and/or multi-currency group, including consolidation
• Exposure to a SaaS or technology business
• Experience of a year-end audit as a main point of contact
• Experience of Xero and revenue-analytics tooling
• Experience in a smaller or scaling business where the finance function is still being built
