Senior Financial Analyst Real Estate & Regeneration

We are partnering with a specialist advisory firm looking to appoint a Financial Senior Analyst / Associate to join its growing Development & Regeneration team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong financial modeller looking to gain exposure to a diverse range of complex development and regeneration projects across the UK.

Working alongside experienced senior professionals, you will advise clients across real estate, affordable housing, regeneration and infrastructure
, providing robust financial analysis to support major investment and development decisions.

• Managing bespoke financial models assessing development viability, residual land values and long-term regeneration cashflows
• Running scenario and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Modelling commercial structures including joint ventures, development agreements, land disposals and investment structures
• Supporting the structuring of residential, mixed-use, commercial and industrial regeneration projects
• Analysing business plans, financial statements and key performance metrics
• Translating complex modelling outputs into clear, commercially focused recommendations
• Preparing client reports, Board presentations, funding submissions and market engagement materials
• Working directly with senior colleagues and clients across a range of advisory mandates

• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience managing financial models for complex projects
• A strong understanding of metrics including NPV, IRR, cashflow, gearing and interest cover
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong written, verbal and client-facing communication skills

Experience with in real estate development, regeneration, housing, infrastructure, consulting or advisory would be advantageous, although candidates from other relevant financially focused backgrounds will also be considered.
