Financial Analyst, Amazon Ads EU Sales Finance

Amazon Ads offers advertising solutions across Amazon’s mobile and desktop experiences, proprietary devices, and demand-side platform (DSP). Its EU Ads Sales Finance team provides analytical and financial leadership to help European advertisers unlock the potential of Amazon DSP across the Open Internet.

• Partner with Advertising Sales teams and the wider business to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support informed business decisions
• Develop forward-looking analyses and initiatives to identify growth opportunities, improve business performance, and support the organisation’s continued scaling
• Highlight key risks, opportunities, and blockers that may affect quarterly and annual business goals
• Evaluate revenue optimisation opportunities and support strategic programmes to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and business performance
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess growth opportunities across Amazon DSP and the Open Internet, translating commercial initiatives into financial insights and recommendations
• Improve financial mechanisms, processes, reporting, and analytical tools
• Co-author business reviews and strategic reporting for senior management, communicating financial performance, key drivers, risks, and opportunities
• Use Salesforce, SQL, and Tableau to identify trends, generate insights, and support management decisions
• Maintain financial controllership and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Economics
• Experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
• Experience applying financial KPIs to analyses
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet tools
• Будет плюсом: professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent), participation in continuous improvement projects with measurable results, experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards), stakeholder experience, financial modelling in Excel using advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query)
