We are seeking an ambitious, high-performing Management Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this broad hands-on role is ideal for someone looking to take ownership across core financial operations, process automation, and commercial reporting.

Working within a lean team (currently 2 FTEs and 1 part-time contractor), you will wear many hats, collaborate directly with senior leadership, and gain end-to-end exposure across the business.

Core Financial Operations

• Assist the Group FC with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Assist with operational cash flow management across the group and monitor short-term liquidity needs.
• Contribute to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
• Perform digital asset reconciliations for ONE.io Fusion.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare management accounts with commentary and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations across all group entities.
• Ensure accurate P&L postings across revenue, cost of sales, and OPEX.

Financial Compliance, Audit & Controls

• Support statutory audits across the group and serve as a key point of contact for external auditors.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal controls, and accounting standards
• Assist with tax filings (VAT, Corporation Tax) and liaise with external tax advisers.

Business Partnering

• Act as a key finance partner to various departments across the company, providing financial data and insights.
• Translate complex financial performance data into clear operational and sales reports for non-finance stakeholders.
• Provide operational and sales insights to support commercial decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across business units to ensure prudent spend management and budget alignment.

Process improvements

• Help drive automation, streamline workflows, and optimise processes to reduce manual tasks.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance efficiency across reporting systems and internal controls.

Essential:

• Demonstrable experience working within finance teams/departments
• Actively studying toward a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
