NatWest Markets - Front Office - Internship

At Nat West Markets, we focus on what we do best and what matters most to our customers. Our Front Office business is customer-focused and brings together expertise across Customer Sales, Trading, Primary Capital Markets, Private Financing, and CMU & xVA. Together, these teams support our customers to navigate markets, manage risk and meet their financing needs across Rates, FX and Credit products.

Our Nat West Markets Front Office summer internship has been designed to give you a taste of what it’s like to work with us, along with valuable experience to help guide your career choices.

Over the course of this 10-week programme, you can look forward to:

• Learning a mix of practical knowledge, technical market skillsand commercial awareness
• Gaining exposure to our Front Office businesses, including Customer Sales, Trading, Private Financing, and CMU & xVA
• Seeing first-hand how we work together as one-bank to deliveranoutstanding service for our customers
• Learning about our culture,values, and goals
• Attending training workshops and gaining hands‑on experience through day‑to‑day work
• Developing a deeper understanding of our products, services and clients

At the end of the programme, we’ll assess your performance and development. Successful interns may be offered a place on our Nat West Markets Graduate Programme, where they can continue building their expertise, broaden their experience and take the next step in their career.

To be eligible for our Nat West Markets Front Office internship you’ll need:

• To be in your penultimate year of university
• To be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree, or a 3.4 GPA
• A strong customer focus
• The ability to adapt well in a rapidly changing environment
• A flair for innovation
• Curiosity and an open mind
• A genuine passion for learning and development
