The role:

This role sits within the Liquidity Reporting team, part of the Treasury function of a leading international investment bank. The successful candidate will play a key role in the production, review and governance of external and internal liquidity regulatory reporting across a complex European banking group.

Working closely with colleagues across multiple global locations, the position offers exposure to a broad range of liquidity regulations, reporting requirements and strategic change initiatives within a highly regulated investment banking environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Validating, reviewing and submitting a range of regulatory liquidity returns across daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting cycles.
  • Managing the review, challenge and submission process for key prudential liquidity reporting requirements.
  • Supporting the production of liquidity reporting metrics used for risk appetite monitoring and management reporting.
  • Preparing analysis, commentary and MI to explain key liquidity movements, trends and reporting variances across multiple regulatory regimes.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of liquidity reporting, including LCR, ALMM, NSFR, Asset Encumbrance and other regulatory returns.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation and controls.
  • Leading and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and regulatory reporting change initiatives.
  • Maintaining and enhancing procedures, controls and governance frameworks supporting liquidity reporting.
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of new MI, controls and reporting capabilities.
  • Supporting the interpretation and implementation of evolving liquidity regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Acting as a key liaison between Regulatory Reporting, Treasury, Regulatory Policy, Change, Project and Technology teams.
  • Building effective relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Risk and Technology functions.

Required experience and qualifications:

  • Experience with in an Investment Banking Treasury or Regulatory Reporting function.
  • Strong hands‑on experience producing and validating PRA
    110, LCR, ALMM, NSFR and Asset Encumbrance reporting.
  • Detailed knowledge of UK and European liquidity regulations and associated reporting requirements.
  • Experience operating within a regulatory reporting control or governance environment.
  • A strong understanding of investment banking products, including secured financing, unsecured funding and derivatives.
  • Knowledge of front-to-back trade life cycles and their impact on liquidity reporting.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and data interpretation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong overall IT literacy.
  • Experience working under pressure within tightly controlled reporting deadlines.

Advantageous experience:

  • Familiarity with international Basel III liquidity regulations.
  • Experience using regulatory reporting platforms such as AXIOM or similar solutions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory submission processes, including taxonomy requirements, XBRL reporting and validation resolution.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Alteryx.
