We are looking for a dynamic, qualified accountant with analytical firepower to join the Group Finance team. The role holder will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information and reporting to the business and its key stakeholders.
This requires the production of timely financial information and insights, and an ability to partner and foster excellent relationships with the wider business as part of understanding financial performance. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to improvements to existing financial processes and ad hoc projects.
- Reporting and analysis:
Develop and perform analytical reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Prepare and present internal financial reports to senior leadership team across the business, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of key financial information. Provide insight on financial accounting matters - Financial compliance:
Prepare consolidated annual financial statements and non-statutory external group reporting - Process improvement:
Design and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency and identify control weaknesses. Contribute to the continuous improvement of business finance operations - Project and ad hoc support:
Support and contribute to finance transformation initiatives. Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), ideally first time passes.
- Background in financial reporting, control and analysis
- Experience in group consolidations
- Experience in property preferred
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organised
- Ability to assess the benefits of technology and self-motivated to drive change
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of European languages beneficial
