The Alternative Equity Products team sits in the Equity Capital Markets team within the EMEACSG team and broadly encompasses the following3 verticals:
Equity Private Placements
: minority stakes in unlisted / private companies, often with a runway to IPO. Equity or convertible prefs. Mix of strategic and financial investors in most cases
Equity-Linked Financing:the team helps clients issue bonds potentially convertible into shares, with investors having exposure to both debt and equity performance. These shares can be either the issuer’s shares (convertible) or others’ shares (exchangeable); the counter party for these products are public investors.
Private Investments in Public Entities (PIPEs): committed equity capital placed to small group of private investors
The team’s clients are mainly corporates / institutions that are looking to raise financing as part of their organic/inorganic growth trajectory. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the business across pitching, pricing, liaison and interface with internal committees, and marketing with sales and investors.
