Assistant Management Accountant

I am partnering with a growing business to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their finance team.

• Hybrid: 3 days in 2 from home

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation of transactional finance but have also had exposure to management accounting duties . The role offers genuine development opportunities
, with support from experienced finance leaders and exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities.

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you'll support the day-to-day finance function gaining exposure to month-end processes, reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transactional finance activities across payables and receivables.
• Support the production of monthly management accounts.
• Assist with month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Supporting the production of management and board reports.
• Providing financial analysis and resolving finance-related queries.
• Supporting audit and year-end financial statement preparation.

• 3-4 years experience within finance and accounting role.
• Strong transactional background with exposure to management accounting activities
• Studying towards ACCA or CIMA, and keen to progress professionally
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proactive, organised and keen to develop
