The firm
A leading international law firm with a large network of UK offices and a wide mix of corporate, public sector and financial services clients.
The roleYou will join a financial services team advising lenders and payment businesses on retail consumer credit and payments products.
- Advise on the Consumer Credit Act and UK payment services rules
- Guide clients on FCA conduct requirements across the product lifecycle
- Help clients put regulatory change in place
- Carry out regulatory due diligence on corporate deals and train client teams
- Use AI tools as part of how the team delivers work
- 2 to 6 years PQE with a solid grounding in financial services regulation
- Good judgement on risk and clear, persuasive advice
- Some experience of scoping and pricing work
- At senior associate level, mentoring of junior lawyers
- Flexible and hybrid working, open to discussion at interview
