Location: Greater London

We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Investment Banking Associate Director to support the origination and execution of transactions across the energy transition sector. The role will focus on renewable power, energy storage, distributed energy, grid infrastructure, sustainable fuels and related technologies. You will work with senior bankers, investors, corporate clients, infrastructure funds and financial sponsors to develop strategic advice and deliver complex transactions in a rapidly evolving market.

Responsibilities will include leading financial analysis, valuation, financial modelling and transaction structuring for mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, project finance, joint ventures and strategic investments. You will manage day-to-day execution processes, coordinate due diligence, prepare information memoranda, management presentations, board materials and client pitches, and oversee the work of analysts and associates. The role will also involve developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, monitoring sector trends, and contributing to the growth of the renewable energy advisory franchise.

You will be expected to collaborate effectively with teams across coverage, industry, financing and capital markets.

Candidates should have significant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, project finance, infrastructure investing or a closely related field, with a strong preference for renewable energy or broader energy transition experience. A proven track record of executing transactions and managing multiple work streams is essential, together with excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills. You should be commercially minded, confident engaging with senior stakeholders, and able to communicate complex issues clearly in written and verbal formats.

Strong project management, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under demanding deadlines are required. A degree in finance, economics, engineering, business or a related discipline is expected; relevant professional qualifications or postgraduate study would be advantageous.
