Finance Analyst

Wade Macdonald are currently working with an established organisation looking to recruit a Finance Analyst into their finance team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join an established finance team. This is a varied role combining financial reporting, reconciliations, analysis and process improvement. You will be responsible for maintaining regular financial reports, supporting month-end activities and helping to develop more efficient reporting tools. The role would suit someone who enjoys working with Excel, analysing financial information and finding ways to improve processes.

• Preparing and updating weekly financial reports.
• Supporting month-end reporting, including reconciliations and financial submissions.
• Reviewing financial information, identifying discrepancies and highlighting key findings.
• Assisting with budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
• Supporting tender processes, including preparing financial schedules and reports.
• Preparing financial information and presentation packs for management meetings.
• Maintaining revenue reporting files and ensuring financial data is accurate.
• Improving existing Excel spreadsheets and simplifying reporting processes.
• Supporting the development of new reporting tools to help with forecasting and business performance.

You will have previous experience in a finance or analytical role, with strong Excel skills and a good understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations. You will be confident working with large amounts of data, identifying discrepancies and presenting financial information clearly. Experience supporting month-end, budgeting or forecasting would be beneficial. You will be organised, have good attention to detail and enjoy improving processes and finding more efficient ways of working.
