Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are recruiting on behalf of an investment management business for an onboarding specialist to support the launch of new accounts, investment products and trading capabilities across global markets.

This is an opportunity for someone with experience in investment operations, onboarding, trading support or custody who enjoys solving problems, coordinating stakeholders and improving how processes work.

The role

You will help ensure the accounts, systems and operational arrangements needed to support investment activity are ready to go. Working with investment teams, trading, custodians, brokers and other operational partners, you will coordinate onboarding requirements, resolve issues and maintain effective controls.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the onboarding of investment accounts, mandates, products and derivatives.
  • Coordinating account funding, operational setup, maintenance and lifecycle events.
  • Supporting market opening and broker onboarding across global markets.
  • Maintaining market documentation, settlement instructions and operational records.
  • Helping establish trading system arrangements and collateral accounts, including coordinating testing and validation.
  • Investigating operational issues, identifying root causes and working across teams to deliver practical solutions.
  • Improving workflows, supporting automation and strengthening onboarding processes and controls.
About you

You will bring experience in investment operations, financial services, account onboarding, trading support, custody or a related operational function.

You will also have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work through unclear or changing requirements.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • A proactive approach, sound judgement and ownership of your work.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to question existing processes and suggest improvements.

Experience in derivatives onboarding, market access, operational readiness or process improvement would be beneficial.

Why consider this opportunity?

The position offers broad exposure to investment operations and the opportunity to contribute to an evolving onboarding function. You will work across teams and global markets, helping build efficient, well-controlled processes that support new investment activity.
