The Investment Product Specialist role sits within Capital Group’s Asset Class Services capability. The Investment Product Specialist partners with Investment Directors to deliver deep expertise on Capital Group’s investment strategies. Collectively they are the voice of Capital Group’s investment capabilities. The Investment Product Specialist and Investment Director teams are two sides of the same coin: the Investment Directors are focused on being the external voice;

the Investment Product Specialist is focused on internal partners and stakeholders. The Investment Product Specialist also plays an important role in thinking strategically about the growth and evolution of the fixed income business, partnering closely with the Client Group to unlock growth opportunities.

The Investment Product Specialist will provide subject matter expertise for designated fixed income strategies, with this role having a particular focus on Emerging Markets Debt (EMD). The individual will be expected to build a deep understanding of Capital Group’s EMD capabilities, investment philosophy, approach and process, and be able to synthesise highly technical investment information to enable the Client Group to speak credibly around the firm’s fixed income platform.

They will partner with other members of the Asset Class Services team to generate deep and impactful investment insights for a range of client and marketing activities.

• Partners with Investment Directors and the investment team to represent Capital Group’s fixed income capabilities across client activities
• Acts as a subject matter expert for EMD strategies, with a primary focus on engaging with internal stakeholders such as client-facing teams, may also participate in external client engagements
• Contributes to the development of investment narratives, product messaging and thought leadership by preparing analysis, drafting content and adapting materials for regional and client segment needs
