Loan Servicing Executive Hybrid

James George Recruitment is working with a well-established, award-winning Financial Services Business to recruit a Loan Servicing Executive for its growing, lending division.

This is a hands-on loan servicing role. You’ll own the day-to-day running of borrower facilities across the loan book, from billing and interest processing to amendments and lifecycle events. You’ll work closely with the Relationship, Finance and Operations teams.

• Service borrower facilities across a commercial loan portfolio, keeping records accurate in the loan management system
• Process facility changes, including interest rate changes, fee and term amendments, exposure limits and participation allocations
• Calculate and process capitalised interest in line with facility terms
• Prepare and issue borrower invoices and statements, including settlements and fees, and manage the billing calendar
• Process lifecycle events, including extensions and extension fees, amendments, terminations and interest suspensions
• Track legal fees and support monitoring of overdue balances
• Handle billing and account queries from borrowers and internal colleagues

• You come from a lending background, with solid hands-on loan servicing or lending operations experience.
• You have a clear understanding of how to process interest rate changes, extension fees and capitalised interest
• You have strong Excel skills, and are confident with pivot tables, data manipulation and reconciliations.
• You have used a loan administration or loan management system
• You are meticulous, with a strong controls mindset and a real eye for detail
• You take ownership, can investigate and resolve issues on your own, and like improving processes

• Salary of c.£50,000 plus a 15% bonus
