What You'll be Doing:

• Operate the core system on a daily basis, including accounting entry input and other operations as required;
• Produce regular reports to Head Office and local regulatory authorities in an accurate and timely manner;
• Coordinate with external tax advisors in the preparation for tax returns and communication with HMRC and HO;
• Prepare daily management information report, monitor management and regulatory indicator as well as support the department to collate information for audit and taxation related matters;
• Take ownership of expenses, suspense account, cash management, complete and maintain financial statistics and collate information as required;
• Take ownership of reconciling Nostro account, Vostro account and security custodian account;
• Assist company fixed assets management, hedge accounting and other projects as required by the Head of Department;
• Make sure transaction records and/or data are filed in an accurate and timely manner;
• Coordinate with IT department on the digitalisation of financial reporting and system development;
• Assist in updating and optimising departmental processes and policies;

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• ACCA or ACA qualification (or part qualified) preferred
• Relevant experience in banking
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English
