You'll join the finance team of a higher education provider, supporting the day-to-day financial operations that keep the organisation running smoothly.

Working alongside colleagues across the finance function, you'll handle routine transactional work accurately and to deadline, and act as a helpful point of contact for queries from across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing invoices, payments and expense claims accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, including reconciliations.
• Supporting month-end processes and assisting with financial reporting.
• Responding to finance queries from internal colleagues and external suppliers.
• Keeping financial records and documentation accurate and up to date.

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail
• Confident use of finance systems and spreadsheets
• Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
