In-House VAT Manager Upper Quartile

Description VAT Advisory role in one of the world’s largest businesses, in the business division that looks after their digital and tech products.

You'll work directly with product and commercial teams — translating complex VAT questions into clear, actionable guidance.

You’ll be advising on EMEA expansions, cross-border digital services, and new business models as part of fast-paced, busy VAT team.

Your work will span product and service expansions, business restructurings, ESS obligations for cross-border digital services, e-invoicing launches across EMEA markets, and the full range of operational VAT questions that arise in a fast-moving environment.

The team operates with a high degree of trust and autonomy. You will own your portfolio, but never work in isolation — the team collaborates closely across direct tax, transfer pricing, and compliance, and share knowledge openly when things get complex.

This is an advisory role, and your profile will need to demonstrate exceptional technical advisory skills, very likely gained in a large professional services firm (or possibly in-house).UK and/or European VAT career profile essential.
