Senior Funding Specialist – Commercial Finance

We're working with a growing, boutique commercial finance brokerage looking to appoint an experienced Senior Funding Specialist.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role combining business development, deal structuring and advisory. You'll have access to an extensive panel of UK and international lenders, alongside warm referrals from an established financial services group.

• Originate and structure commercial finance transactions for SMEs and mid-market corporates.
• Advise clients across a broad range of funding products, including:
• Asset-Based Lending (ABL)
• Asset Finance
• Trade Finance
• Property & Development Finance
• Cash Flow Lending
• Work directly with lenders to structure deals, negotiate terms and secure funding.
• Identify opportunities across complementary products including FX, international payments, corporate treasury and digital assets.
• Opportunity to mentor junior colleagues and progress into a leadership role.

• 5+ years' experience in commercial finance, ideally within a brokerage, lender or advisory business.
• Strong expertise in at least one of the funding products listed above.
• Proven track record of originating and closing deals.
• Experience structuring transactions and working through lender credit processes.
• Comfortable building relationships with business owners, Finance Directors and senior decision-makers.
