** The opportunity
** This Investment Performance and Risk Manager role is responsible for leading the investment performance and risk function across Handelsbanken Wealth & Asset Management, providing oversight of portfolio risk, performance measurement and investment analytics. Working closely with portfolio managers and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will challenge investment decisions, deliver insightful risk and attribution analysis, and ensure robust reporting and governance processes.

The role also involves team leadership, strategic asset allocation support, and driving ongoing enhancements to investment data, systems and reporting capabilities.

Key responsibilities
* Lead the Performance and Risk function for Handelsbanken Wealth 1

LoD, investment team and be responsible for all aspects of performance measurement and risk analytics.
* Work closely with HACD and the second line Risk and Compliance teams to ensure regulations, controls and guidance are adhered to.
* Support the Investment team by utilising Fact Set, Bloomberg, Morningstar and Style Analytics, both operationally and using the analytical capabilities to be able to benefit the business.
* Challenge asset allocation and stock selection decisions made by Investment Directors, and Investment Managers. Chair Monthly 1:1 meetings with portfolio managers alongside the Chief Investment Officer to review portfolio performance & evaluate risk metrics across the strategies.
* Construct and optimise portfolios, through an in-depth Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) process, ensuring that risks are adequately captured and ensuring that the Investment Team are fully aware of the implications of their decisions.
* Be technically able to use databases and other sources to create and automate regular requests and reviews.
* Be comfortable enough to present to internal committees, Investment Oversight Committee (IOC).
* Manage the Investment Performance & Risk Associate, 1 direct report.
* Manage the sign off of monthly and quarterly reports, and factsheets.
* Use investment management tools, excel and Fact Set to provide accurate and timely reporting both internally and externally. Eg VaR, Stress testing, Attribution & Contribution reports
