Long/Short Equity Analyst – TMT and consumer
Location:
London
AAA Global is partnering with a leading investment fund to hire a London-based Long/Short Equity Analyst focused on the TMT and consumer sectors.
This opportunity is suited to an analytically strong professional from investment banking, M&A or private equity looking to move into public markets investing.
Responsibilities- Conduct fundamental research on TMT and consumer companies, assessing business models, competitive positioning and industry trends.
- Build detailed financial models and valuations to identify compelling long and short investment opportunities.
- Develop and present investment theses, highlighting catalysts, risks and potential returns.
- Monitor company earnings, market developments and portfolio positions.
- Work closely with the investment team to support investment decisions.
- Up to 4-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, private equity or fundamental equity research.
- Strong financial modelling, accounting and valuation skills.
- Experience covering TMT and/or consumer businesses is preferred.
- A demonstrated interest in public equities and long/short investing.
- Independent thinking, commercial judgement and the ability to communicate investment views clearly.
