Hedge Fund - Global Head of Tax

Autumnal Partners is working on a senior tax leadership appointment within the hedge fund sector.

We are looking to engage with experienced international tax professionals with the technical expertise and commercial judgement to oversee a complex, multi-jurisdictional tax function.

The position encompasses responsibility for global tax strategy, structuring, compliance and reporting, working closely with senior finance and business leadership.

• Develop and oversee international tax strategy across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage corporate tax compliance, reporting and provisioning.
• Advise on international tax structuring, transfer pricing and anti-hybrid legislation.
• Oversee complex US tax matters, including partnership structures, K-1 reporting and Section 1256 income.
• Identify and manage international tax risks.
• Lead relationships with external advisers and relevant tax authorities.
• Provide strategic tax advice to senior management on commercial and operational matters.
• Oversee and develop an international tax function.

• Extensive international corporate tax experience, ideally gained within hedge funds, investment management, trading or broader financial services.
• Strong technical knowledge of US taxation, particularly partnership structures and associated reporting requirements.
• Experience with international tax structuring, transfer pricing and cross-border tax considerations.
• Experience operating across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage with senior leadership.
