Portfolio Analyst; TWE

We are partnering with a leading alternative asset manager on a search for a Portfolio Analyst to join a lean, collaborative team. Within the role, you will take ownership of financial oversight and provide commercial insight across a diverse renewable energy portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee portfolio profit and loss performance.
• Support annual budgeting and financial performance reviews.
• Review management accounts and identify key trends or issues.
• Work closely with asset and finance managers.
• Participate in asset management meetings and contract tenders.
• Support improvements to reporting, data analysis and operational efficiency.
• Develop your understanding of the renewable energy regulatory environment, including Ofgem.

Key

Skills:

• Newly qualified accountant with an ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong financial and commercial understanding.
• Experience reviewing management accounts and supporting budgets.
• Hands-on commercial finance or management accounting experience.
• Confidence working with senior finance and asset management colleagues.
• Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership in a small team.
• Renewable energy or infrastructure experience is useful but not essential.
• Power BI, Python, data analytics or automation experience would be advantageous.
