Local Authority Housing Income Advisor, South West London / Surrey

Pay rate to £25.27 per hour.

Contract role, Local Government Housing.

We are recruiting for an experienced Local Authority Housing Income Advisor in the South West London / Surrey area.

• The postholder will be responsible for maximisation of income collection and arrears reduction for all households in our managed accommodation and will assist tenants in financial difficulty, signposting them to support services to help them sustain their tenancy.
• Where preventative action fails, you will be required to take appropriate recovery action using legal processes up to and including evicttaio stage.

• Knowledge of the Housing Act 1996 Part VI and VII and Welfare Benefits and proactively keeping up to date with changes and case law.

• A dedicated consultant who has access to all roles across the UK and is available for you to speak to.
