Position: Local Authority Housing Decant Officer, North West
Local Authority Housing Decant Officer, North West London Pay rate to £30 per hour Contract role, Local Authority Housing Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Local Authority Housing Decant Officer in North West London. You will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority. Context

• The Decant Team will form part of a wider multi-disciplinary regeneration hub working across the landlord service, the Council and its development partners to ensure that the Council’s strategic objectives are met in terms of providing new additional affordable homes within safe, attractive and well managed settings.

• Decant Officers own and deliver the 'end to end' decant service for all tenancy types on designated regeneration estates, including responsibility for returning tenants.

• Decant objectives will be met through the delivery of a flexible, responsive, collaborative and effective service where timely and high-quality engagement with tenants secures positive outcomes.

• Decant Officers have a ‘hands on’ role with responsibility for the dynamic management and tracking of a challenging caseload of short and longer-term time-critical decant cases. Decant Officers will regularly review, prioritise and re-prioritise their caseloads to maximise the potential for delivering decant strategies.

• The model of working practice ensures that residents are well supported throughout the decant process and that needs are assessed and addressed as an integral part of the service offer.
