About The Role
We have two vacancies in our Back Office Parking Team for Appeals and Representation Officers. This career graded position comes with a number of responsibilities depending on your entry level.
- Support the busy Parking service by investigating and responding to parking appeals, representations, complaints and general correspondence.
- Follow the statutory process for Penalty Charge Notices, including processing refunds and administering Charge Certificate correspondence.
- Communicate with County Courts and Bailiff Agents to support and resolve PCN disputes and handle telephone enquiries for the team.
- At Scale 6, provide cover for your team in periods of absence and for SO1 duties, collate evidence packs for cases to be heard by Tribunal, meet investigation deadlines, attend personal appeals and act as liaison officer between the Council and London Tribunals.
We’re looking for candidates who have experience in a similar role or strong customer service skills, are excellent communicators and team players, and can understand and assess complex written information. Good conflict‑resolution and written and oral communication abilities are essential.
