You will join a London Borough Local Authority as an experienced Senior Town Planner, working within one of the area teams on a mixed caseload of planning applications. The hiring manager is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, taking ownership of a varied Development Management caseload from day one. You will be working across a broad range of application types, including minor and major developments.

• Take ownership of a varied Development Management caseload from day one.
• Manage and determine a mixed docket of planning applications, including minor and major developments.
• Apply sustainable development policies effectively in decision-making.
• Work collaboratively across the team and with stakeholders.

• Strong previous Development Management experience within a Local Authority.
• Proactive, solution-focused, and able to confidently manage a varied caseload.

• Hybrid working with weekly office presence required.
• Supportive team environment and opportunities to work on meaningful planning projects within a busy London Borough.

Pay Rate: £36-40 per hour (pay rate confirmed).
