Job Overview

We’re looking for a brilliant, commercially‑savvy Public Affairs Consultant to support our client – a London‑based boutique consultancy – during a period of rapid growth.

This interim assignment will be offered initially on a 4‑month fixed‑term contract starting in September, with clear potential to extend.

It is the kind of role that would suit a highly credible, mature professional looking for an opportunity to work hand‑in‑hand with an agency founder as they scale a business.

• Work closely with the agency founder to support their growth strategy.
• Provide senior‑level public affairs, policy and government relations expertise to major corporate clients.
• Engage with government and other stakeholders to influence policy outcomes.
• Operate autonomously within a dynamic, pressurised environment.

• Comfortable working autonomously and independently.
• Solid experience in public affairs, policy or government relations.
• Fine understanding of the UK political and legislative landscape.
• Strong influencing and communication skills.
• Highly credible and mature professional.

Flexible and collaborative working environment. Must be based in London some of the time.
