Regulatory Support Officer Apprentice

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Shropshire Council’s Health Protection Team as a Regulatory Support Officer Apprentice.

This role will give you the opportunity to complete a Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer apprenticeship while gaining practical experience in food hygiene, food standards and wider regulatory work that helps protect residents, support businesses and promote safe, fair trading across Shropshire.

Working under the direction and supervision of a close team experienced officers, you will support regulatory projects, inspections, investigations, sampling, complaints, data analysis and customer enquiries. You will help maintain accurate records, support innovative compliance activity in food premises and contribute to work that improves public health, business compliance and community wellbeing.
