Sheffield, S2 Job Type: Hybrid (2 days in the office) Join our Facilities Management Contracts Team at a local authority in Sheffield as a Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist. In this role, you will manage procurement processes and contracts, ensuring compliance with Council policies and legislation, and supporting the Council’s strategic objectives. Day-to-day of the role:
Manage procurement and contract activities, ensuring compliance with Council policies and relevant legislation. Develop and implement systems and procedures for effective contract management. Monitor supplier performance and contribute to performance reporting. Support the achievement of value for money and risk management. Liaise with service teams and contractors to drive service improvements. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Experience in contracts and purchasing (public or private sector) Strong understanding of procurement and contract management, especially in the public sector. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills. Ability to draft and implement processes, and prepare reports. Recognised purchasing qualification or willingness to work towards one. Strong IT skills. Benefits:
