Job DescriptionThe Grants Officer will provide high level administrative support to ensure the efficient and compliant delivery of multiple grant programmes across Clarion Futures. As part of the Central Grants Team the Grants Officer will lead on specific internally and externally funded grant programmes, providing effective support to applicants, grant holders and key stakeholders. This role requires strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent relationship management and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a small and busy team.

The Grants Officer will lead the grants administration process, including the collating of all grant applications, checking essential criteria has been met and progressing applications to the appropriate grants’ approval stage. You’ll play a key role in supporting our in-house grant’s function, ensuring the process runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements. You’ll also be the main point of contact for applicants and grant holders, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and helping to resolve any issues that arise.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience and knowledge in grants allocation and coordination of processes (preferably within the not for profit sector). Along with the ability to build strong networks with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and work closely with individual grant holders to ensure appropriate use of the grant, including reporting on spend and performance, ensuring all compliance issues are met.
You’ll have substantial experience of using web content and grants management tools along with in depth experience of supporting financial and performance reporting. This is more than just a job; it’s your chance to help build stronger communities and support real social change.
