Role Overview The Financial Controller will work closely with the Financial Director to build a high‑performing, insight‑led finance function within a fast‑growing, premium healthcare group.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded, detail‑driven Financial Controller who enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and strong financial leadership to a multi‑site organisation.

What Your Day Will Look Like As Financial Controller, you will:

Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and discipline

Produce high-quality management accounts, dashboards, and financial insights

Strengthen financial controls, compliance, and governance across all sites

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Manage cashflow reporting and treasury processes

Support the Financial Director with strategic planning and financial modelling

Partner with Senior Leadership Team, and Practice Managers to ensure financial clarity and accountability

Prepare audit files and liaise with external auditors

Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and data quality

Support the integration of new practices as the group expands

Essential Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Experience in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, controls, and compliance

Experience in multi-site, multi-entity, or fast-growth environments

Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability

Strong understanding of cashflow, budgeting, and forecasting

Excellent communication skills, able to translate numbers into clear insights

High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail

Desirable

Experience in healthcare or other multi-site consumer environments

Experience implementing or optimising finance systems

Exposure to private equity or scaling organisations
