The safety of our customers is paramount. The Security, Policing and Enforcement Directorate is responsible for ensuring that all those who use our services or access our networks are protected from crime or personal danger. This will include working with stakeholders to manage offenders on our network and to use problem solving methods to reduce Antisocial Behaviour on all our modes.

This role will support the delivery of policies and programmes to ensure the safety of our customers. This role will be working with a policy manager on offender management, look to lead on problem solving plans/designs to reduce antisocial behaviour and could include working on rough sleeping, young people and vulnerable adults presenting on our networks.

You will work in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders, in particular operational teams across TfL, policing and enforcement partners, charities and Local Boroughs to implement plans to protect our customers. You will have the opportunity to lead multi agency meetings with key stakeholders on key concerns.

• Support work across a portfolio of topics in Security Policing and Enforcement - e.g. Offender Management, Problem solving, rough sleeping, crime reduction, working with youths and hate crime. Your portfolios may change over time.
• Plan project deliverables and prioritise demanding workloads. Work together as a team to ensure that project deliverables and requests are prioritised and delivered effectively.
• Manage multiple projects/requests at one time, and deliver to agreed timescales
• Share and engage stakeholders with guidance and recommendations on key policy issues within the scope of the directorate's operational and strategic accountabilities, objectives and priorities.
• Regularly update stakeholders on project milestones to ensure they are updated on progress.
• Monitor, research and analyse benchmarking activity of other transport systems, cities and that of our transport policing partners to ensure our approach is in line with best practice.
• Providing support to Operational Policy Managers- this could include secretariat support for stakeholder meetings and representing them vide notes and overviews of meetings.
• Work in collaboration with other teams across TfL to ensure that enforcement, compliance and policing priorities are considered as the earliest possible stage in the development of TfL policies and strategies
• Act as an advocate of the team and directorate, to ensure that best practice of Operational Policy development and efficiencies can be achieved
