Grant Assurance Assistant Manager

• Manage Grants Assurance assignments with public bodies, government departments, national services, commercial organisations and not-for-profit organisations such as universities
• Work on Grants Assurance assignments ranging from a few days to up to five weeks
• Examine financial records and carry out audit procedures
• Take ownership of interesting and challenging client work
• Develop internal and external networks
• Work closely with colleagues to provide robust challenge and market-leading insights
• Help clients meet regulatory needs and business objectives

• Experience of working with local government and/or interest in local government with willingness to develop skills and knowledge
• Experience of delivering complex Housing Benefit assignments across the last 5 years
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to summarise information from a wide range of sources and draw conclusions
• Ability to manage client relationships, including senior officers

Demonstrates expertise in Grants Assurance, particularly with public bodies and local government, while effectively managing client relationships and delivering complex Housing Benefit assignments. Capable of summarizing diverse information and providing insights to meet regulatory needs and business objectives.
