ASB Team Leader

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of ASB Complex Case Officers, ensuring high-quality case management, robust enforcement activity and effective partnership working to reduce and prevent anti-social behaviour.
This role requires an experienced ASB professional who can provide leadership, drive performance and work collaboratively with internal teams, statutory partners and community organisations to deliver positive outcomes.
What You Will Do As An ASB Team Leader- Lead and manage a team of ASB Complex Case Officers, ensuring effective delivery of complex ASB case management.
- Provide operational leadership, guidance and support to officers managing challenging and high-risk cases.
- Coordinate partnership working with agencies including police, probation, health services, fire services, community groups and other stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of effective problem-solving approaches to prevent and reduce anti-social behaviour.
- Oversee investigations, ensuring cases are managed appropriately, evidence is gathered and enforcement action is progressed where required.
- Provide advice and support on legal interventions, including actions under ASB legislation and associated housing legislation.
- Support court proceedings by assisting with case preparation, evidence gathering, statements and attendance as a witness when required.
- Proven experience leading or managing complex ASB, enforcement or community safety casework.
- Strong knowledge of ASB legislation, statutory duties, enforcement processes and best practice approaches.
- Experience managing complex investigations and preparing cases for formal enforcement action.
- Experience working with multi-agency partnerships to achieve positive outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team, driving performance and maintaining high service standards.
- Experience representing an organisation in court or providing evidence as a witness is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits.
- Competitive day rate of £450.02 per day
- Initial 3-month contract with potential extension
